Me and my GoPro

Earlier in the year I was fortunate to spend an amazing week on the Hutchinson’s launch in the Bay of Islands at the top of New Zealand. You can read more about it from my previous post here. I had just purchased a GoPro Hero3+ as a reward for completing the Coast to Coast, as well as a birthday present to myself (I'm the queen of finding any excuse for a new gadget), so this trip was its first outing!

While I haven’t been that quick off the mark on the editing side, I have finally put together a video which includes all the awesome activities we got up to like kayaking, snorkelling, diving, fishing, drinking and as always eating far too much. We were very lucky to dive the Rainbow Warrior, a ship acquired by Greenpeace in 1978 and sunk by the French intelligence service in 1985. This was my first ever wreck dive (thanks for the history lesson Alex) plus a little bit of magic also happened on the bottom of the ocean. Check out the video below to see for yourself!

Thanks again to David and Rob for a magical week in the beautiful country I'm lucky to call home.

P.S. A huge thank you again for your lovely words about my Blogcademy Scholarship video. While I didn’t quite make the cut for London, all is not lost and I’ve been offered a spot on the Amsterdam course at the beginning of August. So it’s off to Amsterdam I go, personally I couldn’t think of a better place to get the creative juices flowing…!
